When did you realize you had a passion for your profession?

I started creating art when I was young and knew I wanted to do something artistic with my life. After design school, I began my career as a Visual Merchandiser and Window Dresser, working for Marshall Fields, and Saks Fifth Avenue in the Chicago area. Mostly, I was creating fashion environments, for both displays and MANY a fashion show. I was totally emmersed in colors and fabrics and loved every minute of it! Through setting up so many shows, I had the honor and pleasure of meeting and setting up environments for the likes of Oscar de la Renta, Badgley Mischka, and Emmanuel Ungaro. I found, over time, that it is the thrill of creating a truly unique space to evoke an emotion that satisfied my creativity. My passion for Interior Design continues to grow. I live to help my client's bring their dream space to reality.

The favorite space designs all have a reoccurring theme: Clean lines with artistic details or personal collections. I have always felt that whether a room is formal or casual it should be welcoming and liveable. Incorporating clean-lined, modern furniture for instance with artistic pieces, color,texture and pattern in a balanced and meaningful way creates a sense of individuality. It is about keeping things balanced AND interesting. A home should ultimately reflect that person's style and personality. My absolute pleasure is helping a client create a home that is uniquely to them. You should be able to see your personality in your home.

Favorite places you have visited that sparked your artistic side or inspired you to design:

Hawaii has always been a favorite of mine. The peaceful countryside, the colors, smells and textures set such a peaceful yet exhilarating mood.

I am so inspired by the use of organic, natural materials with the pops of vibrant colors that nature provides

Your top 3 favorite foods to eat if all food was equally healthy:

First- Thai! Its colors,textures, and mix of flavors inspired by the people who settled there. Second and thirdly- Most foods fit into two categories for me: A vehicle for sriracha, or a vehicle for Nutella!

Any other languages you are fluent in?

Fun fact about you:

I am a portrait artist of fashionable, fabulous femmes! My girls range from 1920's flappers to present day artistic celebrities. Drawing and painting have been a constant since I was a kid. It is a place for me to just let loose and use whatever color palette expresses my feeling that day.

Expectation Steps of Requested Booking

1) Your consultant will be sent your requested day and time of consultation

2) Your consultant will either "agree and confirm" or "request a reschedule"

3) If a reschedule or consultant reassignment is needed then you will be contacted with a new consultant suggestion based on similar qualifications and schedule availability of new consultant.

4) Once both parties have agreed, a confirmation of acceptance will be emailed out.

5) In the event no consultant is available to meet your requested booking time frame and/or appointment type your payment will be refunded.

Cancellation Policy

You may reschedule or cancel your appointment at any time prior to 48 hours before your consultation takes place. Appointment cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of your appointment time-frame will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
