When did you realize you had a passion for your profession?

I think it started back in high school when I thought i wanted to become an architect. I instead completed my undergraduate degree in graphic design but always had a passion for designing interior spaces. Early in my design career I was renting a 1910 California bungalow in a historic district in the Phoenix area. The house had been split up into a duplex by a previous owner and done badly! I bought the home after my landlord defaulted on the loan and took on some major remodeling projects to restore it back to a single family home. The property also came with a guest house that was a rental and in poor shape. I remodeled the 400 square foot guest house and turned into my office. Any chance I had to design interior spaces in my own homes, my friends and family homes I jumped at so I decided to make a career move to interior design.

Contemporary and Modern Farmhouse Styles but I always like to strive to make them unique. Whether it's incorporating a persons love of a cherished antique or a bold piece of art, the best interiors are the ones you make your own

Favorite places you have visited that sparked your artistic side or inspired you to design:

Italy and Paris - the history, art and architecture is simply amazing. I love exploring the historic architecture of cities here in the U.S. like Charleston, SC. Visiting places like Arcosanti and Taliesin West here in Arizona, as well as any Frank Lloyd Wright is incredibly inspiring.

Your top 3 favorite foods to eat if all food was equally healthy:

Pizza, chocolate and a perfectly done (by sous vide) tenderloin steak.

Any other languages you are fluent in?

No, but I learned a fair amount of french before visiting Paris only to find all the shop owners spoke english!

Fun fact about you:

I love handmade papers and really got into paper arts setting up an Esty shop to sell photo frames and journals; I'm also a golf-aholic with a single digit handicap.

Expectation Steps of Requested Booking

1) Your consultant will be sent your requested day and time of consultation

2) Your consultant will either "agree and confirm" or "request a reschedule"

3) If a reschedule or consultant reassignment is needed then you will be contacted with a new consultant suggestion based on similar qualifications and schedule availability of new consultant.

4) Once both parties have agreed, a confirmation of acceptance will be emailed out.

5) In the event no consultant is available to meet your requested booking time frame and/or appointment type your payment will be refunded.

Cancellation Policy

You may reschedule or cancel your appointment at any time prior to 48 hours before your consultation takes place. Appointment cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of your appointment time-frame will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
