I have experience working in commercial as well as residential design. I did an internship for the LDS Church in the Temple Design department and worked with designers on local commercial projects. I have quite a bit of residential design experience as I've worked for a custom home builder, an Interior Design firm and currently have a storage of staging furniture that I use to stage homes that investors flip. I am confident in working with a variety of materials and finding effective and creative solutions to spaces. I am an advocate for listening to the client and helping them achieve their desired dream rather than sell a product or push an agenda. I also believe that good design is accessible to everyone. I am confident in my abilities and easy to work with. I enjoy getting to know people and understand them so the space they are designing can best reflect and serve them.

When did you realize you had a passion for your profession?

My dad was an architect and so I grew up looking at buildings and loving architecture. We used to tour spec homes on Sundays as a child and I loved the idea of creating a space in a room that was inviting but not actually lived in. I poured over design magazines and was thrilled to study design in college. I've always been drawn to textures and shapes and furniture details.

Interior Design Professionals are typically experienced with a variety of styles. Describe your favorite spaces you have created:

I worked for a custom home building firm in the southwestern Utah desert and the style was very modern southwest. I created a lot of custom fireplaces, guest homes and entertainment rooms that joined the incredible scenery of the land with the interior. I recently worked on a project with a man who'd lived in his home for 6 years but still never felt comfortable in it. He was looking to create a guest bedroom in a downstairs space that could also be used as a work space and a place for his kids to watch tv. He and I came up with a design that incorporated the function of space saving furniture (a wall bed that doubles as shelving) and form by using modern farmhouse colors and textures with Asian efficiency. It turned out lovely.

Favorite places you have visited that sparked your artistic side or inspired you to design:

I LOVE the outdoors so places like the Grand Canyon, Havasupai Falls, Redwood National Forest and the Caribbean have inspired beauty and artistic visions. I am a fanatic of architecture so visiting St. Pauls Cathedral, St Peters Basillica, the New York Met and Cathedral of the Madeline in Salt Lake City are some of my favorite places to be.

Caprese anything

Salad with avocado, mango, candied nuts and bacon

I love to read and am currently enjoying anything autobiographical/biographical.

Expectation Steps of Requested Booking

1) Your consultant will be sent your requested day and time of consultation

2) Your consultant will either "agree and confirm" or "request a reschedule"

3) If a reschedule or consultant reassignment is needed then you will be contacted with a new consultant suggestion based on similar qualifications and schedule availability of new consultant.

4) Once both parties have agreed, a confirmation of acceptance will be emailed out.

5) In the event no consultant is available to meet your requested booking time frame and/or appointment type your payment will be refunded.

Cancellation Policy

You may reschedule or cancel your appointment at any time prior to 48 hours before your consultation takes place. Appointment cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of your appointment time-frame will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
