I have over 7 years of experience in sales, 2 of those years being specifically furniture and home decor sales. In those 2 years I was a home stylist for West Elm. I became very comfortable visiting clients's homes and curating a furniture and accessory design specifically for them. I was also able to stage several homes and commercial buildings. While studying to obtain my associate's degree in interior design, I completed an internship with a high end home builder. I was an assistant in the showroom where I helped clients select finishes for their homes.

When did you realize you had a passion for your profession?

I have had a passion for interior design for as long as I can remember. When I was younger I used to tell people I wanted to be a professional bed maker when I grew up because I loved putting decorative pillows on every bed in the house. When I was 11 my parents gave me all the resources I needed to do a complete room makeover on my own bedroom. We painted the walls, got new decor, and rearranged the furniture. I continued doing small projects throughout high school and my passion continued to grow.

Interior Design Professionals are typically experienced with a variety of styles. Describe your favorite spaces you have created:

I don't consider myself to have one defining design style. I appreciate any and all design styles when they are executed well. One of my favorite design styles I have worked in would be vintage eclectic. There is something very special about bringing older pieces with meaning into a new space. I love being able to create a fresh space that still feels cozy because of the vintage elements. Another of my favorite spaces was created using the mid-century modern style. I love using bold colors and patterns, and mid-century modern is the perfect style to implement these elements. Some other styles that I have a passion for include farmhouse, boho, and modern.

Favorite places you have visited that sparked your artistic side or inspired you to design:

A few years ago I had the opportunity to visit Spain. The architecture there is truly breathtaking and I was inspired by the amount of detail that was put into many of the buildings we visited. I remember walking through an old castle and being in awe of the carvings that covered every wall and ceiling to create a beautiful pattern. Another place I love to draw inspiration from is New York City. Because it is such a large city that is constantly growing and changing, New York City has amazing examples of design from several different periods and styles. Some of my favorite styles I studied when I was there last summer were Art Deco, Gothic, and Modern.

Your top 3 favorite foods to eat if all food was equally healthy:

Three foods that I never get sick of and would love to eat all the time are popcorn, mashed potatoes, and pizza.

Fun fact about you:

My second passion is volleyball. I played from 3rd-12th grade and was able to coach for a few years after graduating high school.

Expectation Steps of Requested Booking

1) Your consultant will be sent your requested day and time of consultation

2) Your consultant will either "agree and confirm" or "request a reschedule"

3) If a reschedule or consultant reassignment is needed then you will be contacted with a new consultant suggestion based on similar qualifications and schedule availability of new consultant.

4) Once both parties have agreed, a confirmation of acceptance will be emailed out.

5) In the event no consultant is available to meet your requested booking time frame and/or appointment type your payment will be refunded.

Cancellation Policy

You may reschedule or cancel your appointment at any time prior to 48 hours before your consultation takes place. Appointment cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of your appointment time-frame will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
